I unfortunately cannot give an answer to 1 and 3 as I don't understand what you're asking completely, number 4 because I haven't used the mod and am unfamiliar with it so I can't really say how much it would change, and number 8 because I am not a moderator and I have no say in these things. To answer number 7, IGT is used so load times are not a part of the run and therefore even if you have a worse computer in terms of load times or whatever it doesn't really matter and they are all on the same pace. Not 100% positive on what you mean by "fancy timer" however, here is a little guide to livesplit customization if this helps (any other livesplit questions you may have can also probably be answered in the video).
